Project Life week 10

I hope everyone has had a great start to the week, I can't believe we are at the end of March already!!!  Where does the time go? Just a couple of months and the kids will be out for summer vacation, I am started to get a bit nervous now, my girls will be starting high school next year, yikes!!!  Well on to Project Life week 10, I'll be linking up with  The Mom Creative once again so don't forget to check it out,  it's always fun to see what everyone else is doing with PL.

Project Life week 9

Hi, I hope everyone had a wonderful weekend.  We enjoyed our weekend and the entire last week since it was spring break here.  Our week was filled with some relaxing, shopping, eating out, movie watching and lots of crafting!!!  It was an all girls week here, since both my guys had to work all week, so we did lots of girly things !!  Today I am sharing week 9 of Project Life with you.  This week I used design E and design F protectors by Becky Higgins,  I love using design F when I have a lot of pictures to include and design E is fun for bigger inserts and pictures.  I have all the designs just haven't gotten around to using them all.  I will be linking up with The Mom Creative on Tuesday so be sure to link up there and check out all of the creative and inspiring layouts!!!  Thank you for stopping by!!!  Have a fabulous Monday!! :)

Something Crafty

I was cleaning the craft room and sorting through my scrap paper and found so much paper that I have had for a long time, some of it was bits and pieces of leftover paper from various projects.  I really didn't know what to do with so much paper, and its so pretty that I hate to get rid of it.  So what did I do?  Well I decided to make a scrappy journal with all that paper.  I used my binding needle, binding thread, scissors, and my sewing machine, since I didn't have any binding tape I simply used my daughters duct tape.  I had so much fun with this little project, needless to say I didn't really get any cleaning done but I did put that scrap paper to good use!!!

Instagram obsession

Ever since I've had my Iphone I have become obsessed with Instagram.  I love instagraming all my fav pictures taken with my phone, the photo filters are fun and pretty cool to print.  I have been using them alot lately in my Project Life album.  I usually print them out in 2x2, 3x3, or 4x4,  I really like the way they turn out.  Well I thought I'd share a collage of some of my favs from the past week, thanks for stopping by and I sure do hope you visit again and leave a comment if you please, that always makes my day! Project Life week 8

And so the project continues and I continue to love this even more.  My album is growing very quickly and I think that one album will not be enough for the entire year, as a matter of fact I am sure of this, but I love that idea because it just means I am including lots of details of our everyday life.  I try to get everyone included in each week but that has been difficult since the "boy" is hardly ever around.  I think I will have to get him to send me pictures of himself at work or whatever activity he is busy with at least once a week.  Hopefully he will agree to that.  Well here is week 8, thanks for stopping by and have a wonderful week.  Don't forget to visit The Mom Creative for lots of inspiration for PL.

Project Life organizer

  One of the many things that I have been trying to do is reorganize the craft/playroom to accommodate myself, two teenagers and now a crawling baby.  Yes the task is great but I think I can handle it and find a way to make everyone happy, especially this crafty momma who isn't willing t give up her "happy" place.  I have managed to get rid of unnecessary things and "encouraged" the girls to do the same.  My husband was sweet enough to build me an organizer for my PL stuff and now I have a special area set aside for that.  I love how it turned out. :)

Project Life week 7

   So once again I have gotten behind on posting my PL pages on the blog.  I have been really busy with baby and teenagers and birthdays and drama club meetings, etc , etc, blah, blah,blah, yeah I know excuses, excuses,  well anyway without all of this I guess I wouldn't have anything to put in the project life album, so anyway enough with the excuses, here is week 7.  By the way I will be linking up at The Mom Creative so don't forget to check it out for great ideas and inspiration for Project Life.

   I am having so much fun with this project, week 7 included Valentines Day so I had a bit of a theme going there, I usually don't, I just kind of consider each one card to be a mini scrapbook page on its own and don't feel like they all have to match, it just keeps this project more interesting and fresh for me that way.

Well this is it for week 7,  I have been having so much fun doing this that I have been neglecting my art journals and just about totally giving up regular scrap booking, and that's OK with me for now, you never know what the future may bring but today I am enjoying this way too much!!!
